Childrearing

Dear Sharon,

One of the biggest ways I feel stuck is often having trouble with the times of today. To be more specific, how to parent children of growing up today. I feel because of all the over stimulation and instant gratification as well as the lacking of just playing outside their souls are in desperate need of just being....being in nature especially. I struggle with this daily, and sometimes feel I need to "get with the times", however, my soul feels differently....

On a personal note, my divorce was final this year and this makes my soul HAPPY! Thanks!

Weight Loss

Note to readers: This coaching client is knowledgeable about many tools. EFT means emotional freedom technique and their website is www.emofree.com. Abraham is channeled by Esther Hicks and their website is: www.abraham-hicks.com

Dear Sharon,

How did you know that I've been EFT-ing on stuckness for ages?
My current stuck zone has to do with releasing 20 lbs of excess weight. Having been stuck over this for a couple of yrs now, I have even sought help again (something I thought I was finished with). And the 'nutri-therapist' I'm trying to work with, says -- like so many others say to me -- beyond a pretty basic food plan (which he provided), I really & truly just need to let go. It seems I don't know how to let go. Then I feel bad (worthless, unloved, unloveable, guilty) and the stuckness just reinforces itself. I read Abraham (Hicks) and learn delightful techniques that I practice -- and still: nothing. The cycle of feeling back and getting stuck begins again, and again and again. I've had readings by you and other intuitives who all 'sing from the same hymn sheet' & reassure me of marvelous things on their way to me.....but, still, nothing is apparent. Bless you for asking me this question. Thank you from the bottom of my heartful stuckness for shedding some light on a way forward.

Signed, M

Job Satisfaction

Hi, Sharon!

I am a complete stranger who was forwarded your e-mail on stuckness, and so I'm offering mine.

I am stuck (probably not, but I FEEL stuck) in my job.

My response to "probably not": The first step to changing anything is a clear admission that you are listening to your Higher Self say "I don't like this. ..playfully saying, "I HAVE FALLEN INTO STUCKNESS AND I CAN'T GET UP" is good admission for starts.

I'm a cook, and I love it, but the schedule's brutal, the pay's not so great, I'm tired of working every weekend and holiday, and it's hard on the body at my age (48), too. Although I'm talented at many things, the thought of finding other work is overwhelming. I don't even know what exists to try! At least now, I enjoy being very good at what I do, but I can't do it forever.
